• Spearhead a knit division to complement the existing brand & bring focus to the Bella Dahl experience.

• Execute the line, focusing on unique fabrications & dye processes, from conceptualization to pre-production.

• Determine department direction through (continual) extensive trend & market research.

• Provide seasonal direction with mood, theme, trend, color & wash selection.

• Design Fall 2013 & Spring 2014 collections of women’s premium contemporary knitwear.

• Launch Spring 2014 at Coterie; sell to Saks Fifth Avenue, Anthropologie & boutiques nationwide.

• Manage a team consisting of patternmakers, sewers, cutters, assistants & interns as well as all design aspects.

• Conduct fit sessions & provide creative & technical direction. Ensure fit after garment dye.

• Source, select & oversee garment dye houses, laundries & marking/grading, cutting & sewing facilities.

• Extensive fabric & trim sourcing, testing & selection. Design & sour­ce neck labels, hangtags & buttons.

• Oversee creation of visual boards, line sheets, tech packages, & execution of costing and pricing.

• Supervise all photo shoots & assist styling to ensure proper representation of the brand.

• Participate in & provide input for all creative, sales, marketing, branding & strategic meetings.

• Manage all aspects to execute the line from conceptualization to pre-production.
